IAMSE CoG Meetings – November 2026

IAMSE Communities of Growth (CoGs) are ongoing groups of like-minded individuals who want to informally get together to connect over an area or topic of interest. A Community of Growth is not directly connected to any Committee and is self-organized, and all CoGs are open to all. For more information on IAMSE CoGs, click here.

The Humanistic Belonging in Medical Education, Community Outreach, Research, and Engagement (CORE), and Black Medical Educators CoGs will be meeting this month. Below are the details.

Humanistic Belonging in Medical Education CoG

The IAMSE Humanistic Belonging in Medical Education Community of Growth (CoG) brings together health professions educators committed to creating learning environments where everyone feels respected, supported, and valued. Through shared learning and thoughtful dialogue, we explore humanistic patient care, identity, professional growth, and well-being. We welcome a wide range of perspectives and practical ideas for strengthening belonging across medical education.

The Humanistic Belonging in Medical Education CoG meeting will take place on Zoom on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. For more information on this CoG, contact Cory Gerwe at gerwecd@odu.edu.
