Here are some recent accomplishments from our members:

Thomas Schmidt, Professor, Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, Carver College of Medicine, The University of Iowa was selected as a Fellow of The American Physiological Society in 2016.

Susan Labuda Schrop, Ph.D was awarded the Jamie Shumway Servant Leadership Award for enduring service and leadership at the 37th annual meeting of the Generalists in Medical Education, held in Seattle in November 2016. Susan is the Assistant Dean of Curriculum and Quality Measures for the College of Medicine, and an Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

The IAMSE meeting offers opportunities for faculty development and networking, bringing together medical science educators from many professional disciplines and spanning the continuum of health care education.
