Alison
Lintner earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Economics from Dartmouth College and a
Master of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from
the University of Houston, Clear Lake. Her
area of concentration at the graduate level
was Organizational Psychology. At UTMB, she
currently serves as Human Resources Programs
Administrator for the Regional Maternal and
Child Health Program. Her focus is
on leadership development, improving
employee satisfaction, building employee
relationships and effectiveness, and
recommending process changes to streamline
work in the 16 regional clinics.
Previously, she worked for 10 years
as Senior Human Resources Consultant and
Business Partner in Organizational
Development, Training and
Recognition providing training, facilitation
and coaching to develop new skills and
behaviors in individuals and teams.
Alison is
certified in Stephen Covey’s
The
Seven
Habits of
Highly Effective People,
as a facilitator with
Achieveglobal,
in the
Birkman
Method
for motivational assessment, in Reuven Bar-On’s
EQi
profile
interpretation and coaching, and in Dave
Ramsey's
Financial
Peace at Work. Alison
developed and implemented the Supervisor and
Manager Certification Programs at UTMB. She
recently authored a chapter for the Birkman
Reader, a guide published by Birkman
International, Inc. to help consultants and
companies use the
Birkman
Method
to increase emotional intelligence in the
workplace. Alison resides in Galveston with
her husband Jeff and travels with him
regularly to Dallas to spend time with his
three children, Austin, William and Suzanna.
