| Dr. Phye is Associate
Director of Curriculum and
Co-Director of Learning Communities
at the University of Iowa Carver College of
Medicine where she helps guide the
continuing development of the Learning
Community system and the students within
them. Dr. Phye was a member of the steering
committee of first Learning Communities
Institute held at the University of Iowa.
She has presented on the topic of Learning
Communities at the local level. She is also
co-author of a upcoming chapter on student
affairs issues for professional students.
Dr. Phye holds a Ph.D. from the University
of Iowa in Counselor Education/Student
Development for Post-Secondary Education.
