Carol Hodgson

Carol Hodgson, Ph.D. is the Associate Dean
for Curriculum and Evaluation, Director of
the Office of Medical Education and an
Associate Professor in the Department of
Medicine at the University of Colorado
Health Sciences Center. She received a
Master of Science degree in biochemistry
from the University of California, Riverside
and her doctorate in Education (educational
psychology and research methodology) at
UCLA. Before entering the field of
medical education in 1992, she was a
researcher in preventive medicine. In
her role as Associate Dean and Director, she
oversees the School of Medicine course and
faculty evaluation system, school-wide
program evaluation, curriculum change and
development efforts, faculty development,
and medical education research. One of
Dr. Hodgson’s major goals is to enhance
medical education research efforts within
the UCHSC School of Medicine through
collaboration and faculty development.
Her research focuses on program evaluation. |
