Rebecca Henry, Ph.D. is a Professor in
the Office of Medical Education Research and
Development (OMERAD) in the College of Human
Medicine at Michigan State University.
She received her academic degrees in
psychology and educational psychology with
special emphasis on learning and cognition
and statistics and research design. Her
scholarly interests include program
evaluation and learner assessment as well as
teaching research skills to clinical faculty
in several national faculty development
programs.
During her career, Dr. Henry has directed a
number of large scale evaluations of national
programs in the areas of primary care and
institutional change. Most prominent
was the Kellogg initiative, “Community
Partnerships in Health Professions
Education.” Currently she is
evaluation consultant to the Ambulatory
Pediatrics Association, the Society of
Teachers of Family Medicine and the
Association for Medical Education and
Research in Substance Abuse on funded
educational grants. Dr. Henry is on the
editorial board of the Springer Series on
Medical Education. In 1995, she
received the Distinguished Faculty Award from
the College of Human Medicine.
