Description
The purpose of this course is to help medical science educators to use
qualitative and quantitative methods appropriately and effectively in educational
planning, evaluation, and research.
Participants will:

describe the appropriate uses of common qualitative and quantitative methods
in educational planning, evaluation, and research |
 |
analyze qualitative data, such as the results of open-ended questions on
surveys, interviews, focus groups, and observational field notes |
 |
design effective structure survey questions |
 |
identify resources for refining their skills in the use of qualitative
and quantitative methods for educational planning, evaluation, and research |
