Description

The purpose of this course is to involve medical science educators in using fundamental principles of learning to enhance their teaching effectiveness in different learning environments. 

Participants will: 

 
explore learning modalities and apply insights to teaching and learning effectiveness
examine the role of learning theory in effective lecture-based and large group teaching
analyze small group teaching and learning in terms of individual and group needs 
apply learning principles to enhance 1-1 teaching, coaching, and mentoring relationships
