Description
The purpose of this course is to provide basic science educators with
fundamental skills for leadership roles within curriculum committees, research
teams, and other coordinated groups of a medical center environment.
Participants will:
 |
realize one’s own leadership style and be sensitive to differing styles
of others |

describe the characteristics of effective work groups and teams |
 |
define and design an environment for productivity |
 |
describe the strategies and techniques of effective role models and mentors |
