Description
The purpose of this course is to make participants aware of the various
features of MS PowerPoint that enhance a presentation. They will
test skills in evaluating and modifying a series of slides to make them
effective for teaching. Newer methods of just enough just in time
delivery systems will be demonstrated.
Participants will:

convert material to support visual learners |

evaluate and determine uses for a just enough just in time learning system |

determine the 6 key features of MS PowerPoint that teachers need to know |

Dr. Kelliher has served in varied roles over 30 years at the MCP-Hahnemann
University, from Pharmacology Program Director to Vice Provost for Education.
He has received Golden Apple and Lindback Awards for Distinguished Teaching,
and for more than a decade conducted an annual Effective Teaching Workshop
to train medical faculty throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and
Latin America. His company trains health professionals in presentation
skills, effective use of PowerPoint, and problem-based learning. |
