Description
The purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the World
Wide Web for teaching by exploring its ability for interactivity, emphasis
on interrelationships among concepts, and access to images and multimedia.
It is designed for those with little or no previous experience adapting
materials to the Web.
Participants will:

discuss theories of effective teaching and design on the Web |

examine resources and barriers for implementing a Web course at your institution |
 |
practice the planning process for designing an effective Web course |
 |
develop a Web-course plan based on your own curriculum materials |
