We offer two scholarships per year to provide financial assistance to IAMSE
members to attend our annual meetings. These awards will be funded by monies
raised by the Silent Auction. Award
winners would be selected by the Development Committee on the basis of submitted
abstracts for poster or oral presentations, and on the basis of financial need.
Winners of the scholarships would have their registration to the annual meeting
waived. They also would have their hotel room covered for the meeting by IAMSE
and receive a partial travel stipend.
One award will be for
an applicant of junior faculty status from a North American institution. The
other award will be for an applicant of any academic rank from a non-North
American institution. For both awards, applicants must be members in good
standing at the time of submission of their abstracts. Further, a statement of
financial need from each applicant is required. Please submit the
