Podcasting is wildly popular with students and is an emerging tool for distance and remote education. While the elegant delivery is appealing, many technical and logistical issues are involved with this technology. This workshop will examine a recent proof of concept experiment with podcast delivery of school of medicine lectures. Costs, time commitments, technological requirements, and student and faculty satisfaction will be covered.
