This session will focus on providing detailed insight into what is required to successfully write and publish educational research. Anyone who intends to start publication in educational research should attend. Topics will include content and format requirements for Innovative Ideas in Medical Education, Monographs, Short Communications in Medical Education Research and Full length papers in Educational Research, as well as Commentary on Medical Education, all using JIAMSE as a model for the discussion. Examples will be provided for each participant and anyone with poster presentations will be helped to formulate their poster as a publication idea.
