R2 - Sharing Resources for Curriculum Integration
The session is designed to bring participants who are already involved in an integrated curriculum or who are moving toward an integrated curriculum. We will share our definitions of what an integrated curriculum is. To answer this, each participant will bring the following items to share with other members of the session. 1) Schedules of the overall curriculum, a representative subsection (course, block, division, etc.), and an example of a weekly schedule to include the type of faculty leadership at the curriculum and section levels; 2) examples of objectives for the curriculum and a subsection; 3) a subsection test; 4) a list of resources for teaching to include active learning resources; and 5) examples of small group activities.
