Update on USMLE and NBME Programs

An update will be provided on USMLE and the NBME.  The session will focus on an overview of USMLE with an emphasis on the basic principles and performance of students.   The session will also provide a brief historical perspective and an update on recent enhancements and use of the NBME Subject Examination Program and the NBME Self-Assessment Services.  The session will also provide an overview of a new service, the NBME Customized Assessment Services.  This new service has been designed to serve the needs for basic science assessment by providing faculty with an opportunity to develop customized examinations and other assessment services.
