Dr. Jack Scott, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center
Dr. Gary Rosenfeld, University of Texas Health Sciences Center

Quality improvements in instruction and learning outcomes for the highly complex, dynamic medical curriculum are invaluable. Program evaluation is a systematic process that seeks to determine the worthiness or value of a medical education curriculum pertinent to those most interested (e.g., teachers, students, academic leaders, public, etc.). Participants in this interactive, hands-on focus session will explore various evaluation models applying outcome and impact measures to effectively assess authentic instructional improvement plans and policy goals.
