The use of teaching or educator portfolios has increased dramatically in the last decade. This session will describe what a teaching portfolio is and will bring participants through the steps of developing one that optimally documents important information on the scope and quality of their teaching. Participants will also leave the session with concrete examples that will help them document their achievements and scholarly work in teaching, as well as with examples of how they can use portfolios to guide ongoing professional development.
