C6 - Enhancing Teaching through Learner-Centered Perspectives and Strategies

The purpose of this course is to involve medical science educators in applying important principles of learning to enhance their teaching effectiveness in different learning environments. Included in the course will be an examination of various learning modalities, cognitive styles, and active learning strategies. Participants will accomplish learning objectives through a variety of activities, including large and small group discussion and hands-on applications.
